The Cozy Cabin looks on as its foundation gets made.
Strong, solid, non-rotten concrete. Woot.Since this photo was taken the foundation was built up enough so that the whole cabin is now actually on its foundation. Very pleasing.
More foundation blocks for the centre of the cabin.
My Cozy Cabin project has been a bit more garden oriented.
Daisy
A daisy with some ray flowers poking out amongst the disc flowers.Daisies are not individual flowers, they're an inflorescence (a group or cluster of flowers). Each little yellow round dot is a fertile disc flower and each purple "petal" is an infertile ray flower. And there's your nerdy fact for your next party.
Orange hawkweed inflorescence (Pilosella aurantiaca).
