Giant Cedars and Skunk Cabbage Boardwalks

Chillin' on the boardwalk.

Spotted some tadpoles and frogs. Pretty exciting as we've been calling Cassia 'Tadpole' for the past 9 months.

Hanging onto Dad.

Adventure to the Illecillewaet River

J & C chilling by the river.

James is super stoked about the Baby Bjorn and it's potential for adventures.

Begbie and Mt. Tilley

More Cassia

I will attempt to not turn this blog into only pictures of our daughter. But for now she is the centre of our lives. We had NO IDEA how much we'd love this little person. It's pretty damn fun.

Welcome to the World Cassia Lily!

About 26 hrs before birth, and 16 hrs after my water broke (but no contractions yet).

Shortly after birth.

Already sporting a touque.

Proud and slightly stunned Dad was the one to catch our girl!

A Cassia flower. Cassia is a genus in the pea family (Fabaceae) and is also the common name for Cinnamomum aromaticum or Chinese cinnamon.
