Kootenay Joe Farm

Went for a visit to Kootenay Joe Farm, home of Stellar Seeds. A lovely time deep in the Kootenays.

I love how the little side fiddleheads (or croziers if you want a new nerdy word) look like curled up cat paws. So cute.

Gar creek which provides the farm with water had a big avalanche this year and there is still heaps of debris and snow in the creek bed. Should be interesting to watch melt out. (Note: this is the creek that ended up being the site of the massive and devastating landslide in Johnsons Landing in July of this year.)
